This is how we ride...

Har! Just got back from the July 1st celebrations down at the waterfront. My dad and a friend of his were working backstage with the band and stuff, and he got me one of the backstage passes, so I basically go to go back and scrap elbows with Finger 11, The Trews, and some other bands that were there. It was pretty awesome. After the bands played, and left, we had to go through the trailer and clean out the beer bottles and stuff. But I discovered that one of the band's (I do believe the Trews) lead singers left behind a pair of glasses, which I took (since he was gone and everything) and I'm wearing them now. They're pretty awesome. Oh, and my mom got me some weird hat for some reason

anyway, after that, the fireworks came on. Since the 'backstage' area of the festival was right next to the dock, we were no more than 50 yards from the boat that the fireworks were being launched from, so we got an awesome front row seat to the biggest Canada Day fireworks display in the country.
Then, after that, it was a good hour waiting in traffic to get back home, but I guess it was worth it.
Didn't get drunk this time :P Guess I can't with my parents and my dad's friend's kids around.
