The Wednesday to End All Wednesdays!!
Well, it certainly was an eventful day yesterday.
Of course, it was the day (or...night at least) that we'd be going to see Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Yes, I had acquired tickets to the midnight showing, and was pumped for it. Also, the new LOST episode was on just before the time we would head out. So, not only was I treated to so cliffhanger revelations from LOST, but also got to be in center seat back row for one of the most anticipated movies of all time. But, Wednesdays work in mysterious ways.
Gym class. We head outside for a game of Wimbly. Basically it's a fun little game where you get a bunch of teams of two, put one ball in the middle, and each team has to try to score on one net. If your team scores, you sit out until the next round. The last team on the field is elimanited. Then all the teams go back on the field and do it all over again, minus one team.
Alright, so for most of the game people would just hang around the net waiting to tip the ball in and make it their goal. Two teams had already done it to my kicks (ie I kick it and they hit it with their leg or something and it goes in, thus making it their point) so I wasn't about to let it happen for a third time. I'm standing in front of the net when the ball gets kicked up into the air and start falling towards me. I see my opportunity and jump for it, turning in air so I can hit it foward into the net. It just so happens the shortest guy in our gym class was in nets at the time, which makes this all the more horrible. As I turn I just see the top part of his head. Next thing I know I'm stumbling backwards, a massive amount of pressure over my nose and upper lip area. I go sit down next to the net and the gym teacher says I should go inside because I'm bleeding. I put my hand to my nose and quite literally my entire nose and just under my nose was covered in blood. My wimbly partner walks me inside to Student Services and there I sit for a good half hour wipping away blood and plugging my nose.
But hey, it got me out of school early. The only cost being I nearly broke my nose.
For the rest of the day (even now as I type this) my nose really hurt, espeically when I touch it or scrunch it up. Even when I was eating my favorite M&Ms...peanut M&Ms, as I chewed it hurt just at the top of my gums.
Anyway, LOST was a good episode. They finally reveal what the Black Rock is, and apprently it's not a black rock at all, just a pirate ship (which I presume is named Black Rock). Also, the big thing about it is that 'The Others', as the french women calls them, are coming for them. She said that she say a pillar of black smoke, then that night they came and took away her baby.
Naturally, that day, when they're sending off the raft, they see a pillar of smoke. So now they want to hide everybody, and the hatch seems to be the only place to hide them. But how to open it? With explosives damn it!
Anyway, the next episode is the 2 hour season finale, which should be awesome. Can't wait.
I might have a review of EpisodeIII on later, but for now, I'm tired.
