Otherworldy Woes
Sorry for not updating in a while, been doing some stuff.
So, recently, the Battlefield 2 demo was released, and that's been taking up almost all of my spare time, and with exams coming up next week, I'm praying it doesn't cut into any of my study time!
Alright, here's the biggest news of the past while. I recently got my braces off (4 years of being caged, finally!). My parents had assured me I'd have to get retainers, and only have to wear them at night when I goto bed. Well, to my surprise, the dentist informed me I had to wear them everday, all the time (besides eating and sports and special events) until SEPTEMBER! Jesus man, just let me be done with this stuff. I'm really getting sick of it.
Another thing I'm getting sick of. My paper route. I've lost all will to get up early in the morning. I'm usually getting out now by 5 to 7 in the morning. I have to do the papers, get home, shower really quickly so my dad can shower too, then make the bus at 7:45. If I take too long to shower I won't have time to do other things, and I'll make my dad late for work, which could result in him getting fired. It's really annoying having to rush every morning, and getting myself out of bed is getting harder and harder all the time. I think I'm going to collect for the next week or so, hoard all the money, then quit when my bank account is nice and hefty.
I've been looking for a job somewhere. I recently discovered that the minimum age for a job at FutureShop is Grade 12, so my hopes of working there are shattered. My best bet right now is the pharmacie by the KFC and McDonalds not but a 10 minute walk away. If anyone has some good job suggestions, please post a comment about them, and where I can get an application.
What else...French History exam is going to be a bitch, she gave us one of those extra long sheets that you have to fold over to fit into your scribbler, and we basically have to research everything on it in detail. Besides that, all my other courses should be a breeze.
retainers...can't drink from the water fountain very good anymore. Makes me dehydrated really easily. Bah
I'll post some pics of all these little figurines I have setup on computer desk. That's when I can get a hold of the digital camera from my dad
