Alright Kids, Buckle Up, and Lets Go

Yeah, so I haven't posted in a while. I'd like to see you do anything over the internet..

anyway, here's my WEEK IN REVIEW as I can recall it

Monday - Woke up at around 2, played Guild Wars for most of the day, watched TV

Tuesday - Did some shit then went to see The Island. Was pretty good

Wednsday - Bought my new x800XL 256mb graphics card. There was much rejoicing *yay*

Thursday - Went to see Stealth, started putting stuff in boxs (for the move!)

Friday - Packed up a bit more, went to Friday Night Magic with Lucas, came back to find everything but the beds stuffed into a U-Haul van. Last night in old house :(

Saturday - Got to the new house, started unloading shit. From 11-6. Got the computer set-up in my room. Went to Pizza Delight for supper at 7, left at 8:25 to goto Futureshop. Bought a wireless card thingy for my computer so I could connect WIRELESSLY to the router in the living room (no internet cable in my room yet). First night in the new house, cat kept me up till 3:30

Sunday - Woke up, went to church, did cameras with dad and Charlie, went home. Played Guild Wars and some Counter-Strike: Source. Went to my aunt's Golden Jubilee (the celebration of 60 years as a nun...yikes). Had to attend a second church mass for that. After that was done (good hour and a half of sitting and standing at oddly curved wooden pews) went down to the dining hall to feast on some chocolate squares. Ended up breaking a punch glass and getting into awkward conversations with 3 random nuns. It's really hard to get out of socialising with those nuns. You try and creep away but they suck you back in.

And finally, tomorrow I plan to go out and buy some new swimming trunks and then head to Basin Head or some beach with my cousins. Should be fun...


as for the new house. I'm really liking it. With the computer desk and my bed, my room is kind of cramped, but I like it. Feels college dormy for some reason. I still have to put stuff up on my walls, and put blinds or curtains or something on my window (people behind us keep looking in when I'm on the computer...really creepy)
As I said before, my computer is currently hooked up to the internet wirelessly, which is a BIG pain in the ass to setup after you restart the computer, since the new modem Eastlink gave us is shit, and you have to unhook it and reconnect it everytime.

And then come the problems with our TV satellite. Something went wrong with the wiring, and it ends up that we won't get out satellite fixed till Tuesday, so no TV till then. We rented a bunch of movies to tide us over.
I'm just getting back from watching 28 Days Later, which is a really weird movie to say that least. Other movies we rented include The Shawshank Redemption, and some horrible B-Movie called 7 Seconds that my dad rented for the sole reason that Weasly Snipes was on the box cover.

All in all, it's been a good week. I'll try and get some pictures of the new house once I find the digital camera (it's here...somewhere...boxes...).
